We believe that everyone should be able to reap the physical and mental benefits of fitness. Unfortunately, the current economic situation is not ideal and many people are cutting back or giving up exercise programs entirely to make ends meet. We want to give the opportunity for these individuals to take our classes even when money is tight.
Work-Dance Positions. These are volunteer positions that require an application to be submitted. In exchange for completing the duties of each position, volunteers will be granted full or partial assistance for our classes. Volunteers must be qualified to do the position for which they are applying. Currently available postions include:
- Class Assistant 1- Huntersville area- Thursday 6:30 pm- Assistant would arrive 20 minutes early, stay 10-15 minutes late, Assist with signin, Assist with selling class passes. Sales and customer service experience a plus.
- Class Assistant 1- University area- Sunday 1:30 pm- Assistant would arrive 20 minutes early, stay 10-15 minutes late, Assist with signin, Assist with selling class passes. Sales and customer service experience a plus.
- Class Assistant 3- Harrisburg- Saturday 10:30 am- Assistant would arrive 30 minutes early and would assist with preparing room for class. Assist with breakdown of room after class.
Financial Assistance. In the case that a Work Dance position is not available, on a limited basis we grant temporary partial or full assistance for applicants who are otherwise unable to pay for classes. In order to be considered for this assistance, an individual would need to include a statement of financial hardship.
